Yoga is more than just stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits.
The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement more more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained.
Please wait...I really love StrikeGym in Coconut Creek. I have joined other gyms in the past and been less than satisified. I decided to try StrikeGym and I am amazed with the excellent trainers and facilities. In the past I was not a morning person, but for the past three weeks I have been consistently attending the 6:15AM conditioning class five times a week. The instructors are very supportive and assist you with learning the exercises and ensuring you perform them correctly to avoid injury. Going to the gym without motivation will not produce results, but attending the classes at StrikeGym of Coconut Creek is like having a personal training session on a daily basis. Other gyms I have attended in the past consistently try to upgrade and sell you higher memberships with contracts while at StrikeGym Coconut Creek there is one no contract membership. They are more concerned with motivating and helping you than trying to get more money out of you. I would highly recommend you check out StrikeGym Coconut Creek.
