Parkour Urban AcrobaticsParkour, also known as "Free Running" or "Urban Acrobatics" as it is known is a new sport that is rapidly gaining popularity all over the world. This is the art of negotiating various obsticles while moving around an enviroment.

It is based very strongly on gymnastics and requires immense strength, coordination and lightning reflexes.

The aim to move from one place to another, negotiating the obstacles in between. In urban enviroments the discipline uses no equipment but in the gym, we have special obsticals built to train on. This is a non-competitive sport. A male practitioner is generally called a "traceur", a female a "traceuse".

At StrikeGym our number 1 priority is always safety and the head instructors, Blake, will never put members in a dangerous situation. 

This class is open for members 10 years old and up.
